The First Idea
In order to figure out what souvenirs to make, I organised my thoughts using a mind map.

I saw While-slip Minhwa, which was exhibition at Cromwell Place during the 2023 London Design Festival, and I thought Chatham would have a folk story related to the history of the neighbourhood, and I also had a passion to use ceramics at least once, so I created the idea of lighting using ceramics.
I searched the Google for Chatham's folk story and found that there was a book by Neil Arnold in 2012, Haunted Chatham. Since Chatham is home to a very famous historical site "Historic Dockyard" and one of the famous industries, Ropery, so I included them in materials research because I really wanted to use them.
I did research to find a connection with ceramics but this is incorrect research information because the Pottery Chatham Shop I found was a souvenir shop located in Massachusetts, USA.
(Chatham, England, had no connection with Pottery.)
